Roger Lavallée

Biography

  • Roger Lavallée, originally from Cornwall, Ontario, dedicated his career to the Canadian Forces from 1975 to 1999. His interest in metaphysics began at an early age, around seven, and deepened at 17 through dance, hypnosis, and other metaphysical disciplines. Since 2002, Roger has been sharing his knowledge in hypnosis, meditation, tarot, suicide crisis intervention (ASIST), and, since 2013, astrology. A graduate of the Institute of Applied Metaphysics and a member of the Association des Métaphysiciens du Québec, he has trained numerous tarot readers and practitioners in the Outaouais region.
  • Roger is also certified by the Canadian Fitness Professionals and is a Zumba instructor (levels B1, B2, Gold, Zumba Step, and Zumba Toning). Between 1986 and 1992, his work earned him a certification in military fitness assessment. In the field of martial arts, he earned his brown belt in judo in 1974, followed by his SHODAN diploma (black belt) in Shito-Ryu in 2000.
  • In 2005, Roger reignited his passion for social, Latin, and ballroom dance, leading him to teach at the University of Ottawa for three years. In 2017, he pursued further studies in line dance (social, Latin, and ballroom) and became a member of APDEL (Association Professionnelle de Danse en Ligne). In January 2018, he obtained his Level II certification in Essentrics, a method that blends ballet and Tai Chi.
